Built in 1812, the Asa Whiting House was originally sited closer to Washington Street and was moved to its present site in the early 1930s. It has been redecorated with period wallpapers. Furniture is typical for the time and accents the front parlor and formal dining room. The large meeting room is used for both formal and informal functions. The house rental includes the use of the entire first floor (meeting room, parlor, dining room, and kitchen) as well as the two side porches.
