When Ayla and Evan started planning their wedding, they knew exactly the mood they wanted: warm, sunshine-yellow, and completely their own. Ayla designed a color story built around yellow, brown, and green that carried through every part of the day, from a pre-wedding Tall Ships sail on Boston Harbor to a fully transformed ballroom at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel in Boston. Siagel Productions was brought in to turn that vision into a celebration their guests wouldn’t forget.
A Moss-Accented Ballroom Built for Every Guest
The Boston Park Plaza’s ballroom was reimagined with moss accents woven through the florals and a mix of table sizes that let every guest feel at home, from intimate four-tops to long tables built for big families. The sunshine-yellow, brown, and green palette Ayla envisioned carried from the linens to the lighting, giving the room a warm, garden-inspired glow that set the tone for the entire night.
Radiance by Wilson Stevens Kept the Dance Floor Full
Live entertainment came from Radiance by Wilson Stevens, whose band kept the dance floor packed from the first song to the last. Guests kept coming back between courses, drawn in by a set list built to match the room’s energy — proof that the right band can carry an entire reception.
A Team Effort, Down to the Smallest Details
Florals by Petal Pushers Studio brought the moss-and-yellow color story to life across the ballroom, while Peak Event Services supplied the rentals that let the room’s varied table settings come together seamlessly. Jonny Havens filmed the day, capturing everything from the harbor sail to the last dance. In one of the day’s most meaningful moments, Ayla and Evan surprised guests with a donut wall in tribute to Evan’s late grandmother, presented on what would have been her birthday — a personal touch woven into a celebration already full of joy.
