The story of Siagel Productions began long before the company itself existed. It started with Louis (Lou) Siagel — a respected local violinist whose love of music became the foundation for generations of entertainers. Lou spent decades bringing music to weddings, celebrations, and community events throughout Greater Boston, passing along not only his musical talent but a belief that live entertainment has the power to create lifelong memories.

Louis Siagel | Before Siagel Productions
It started with a violin. Lou Siagel was a respected local violinist whose love of music became the foundation for generations of entertainers. He spent decades bringing music to weddings, celebrations, and community events throughout Greater Boston — passing along not only his musical talent but a belief that would outlast him: Live entertainment has the power to create lifelong memories. That belief became the DNA of everything Siagel Productions would one day become.

Steve Siagel Begins Entertaining
As a teenager, Lou's son Steve Siagel began DJing family parties. Word quickly spread, and what started as a few celebrations grew into a thriving entertainment business.

Steve + Cindy expand the business
Steve was joined by his wife, Cindy, whose talent for organization and hospitality helped transform the business from a DJ company into a broader event planning and entertainment company.

Michael Siagel: The Next Generation
Today, Siagel Productions is led by Michael Siagel, representing the third generation of family leadership. Michael has continued to evolve the company while honoring the values that built it—investing heavily in exceptional people, innovative entertainment experiences, event technology, and thoughtful planning.
The Siagel family legacy extends beyond events. Michael proudly works alongside his sister, whose leadership of the family's early childhood dance program continues another branch of the family's lifelong commitment to inspiring confidence, creativity, and performance in young people. Together, the family remains deeply rooted in the performing arts and in serving the local community.
While the Siagel family has guided the company, the true story of Siagel Productions belongs to the thousands of extraordinary people who have been part of it.
Over more than five decades, countless DJs, emcees, musicians, dancers, technicians, event planners, photographers, designers, warehouse staff, producers, and support personnel have worn the Siagel name with pride. Many have spent years—or even decades—helping families celebrate life's biggest milestones and helping organizations bring ambitious events to life.
Every one of them has left a lasting mark on our company.
Some began as high school performers and grew into industry-leading entertainers. Others discovered careers in event production, planning, lighting, audiovisual technology, or hospitality through their time with us. Together, they have shaped the culture, standards, and reputation that define Siagel Productions today.
