*My Super Sweet 16*

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

When this birthday girl told event designer Rebecca Omansky that her dad owned a car dealership, Rebecca’s first question was “what car are you getting for your birthday?” Her second question was “do you have somewhere to store all those cars?” It took some convincing but Dad agreed to shut business down for a day and clear the Porsches out to make room for the party of the year.

Rebecca used hundreds of feet of drapery, light-up furniture, and animal print couches to turn the family’s car dealership into a nightclub fit for a princess. Bouncers checked names off the guest list, guests helped themselves to a penny candy shoppe, and 100 sixteen year olds danced the night away. “Most sixteen year olds don’t live up to their nickname” says Rebecca, “but this birthday girl was truly sweet.”

Pink+Black+Feathers= EDGY!

Siagel Party Planning started the 2009-2010 Bar/Bat Mitzvah season with a BANG! We had a fashionable Bat Mitzvah girl on our hands who wanted her party to be chic but edgy at the same time.

We first started with the color palate of hot pink and black and then added feather details to make this party fit for our in-vogue 13 year old. With plasma screens, pink uplighting, giant feather towers – not to mention boas, sequins and glitter (OH MY!) – this Bat Mitzvah girl had some SERIOUS edge!

To add a bit of softness to the decor, we used elements of surprise throughout the room. My favorite piece is the satin bow tied around the black napkins.

A Blast from the Past!

Everybody say cheese! The hottest novelty item out right now is the Vintage Coney Island Photo Booth. Grab a few friends or family members and step back in time with our vintage booth.

Photostrip

Go a step further and add a Scrapbook Table. Cut your strip in half and create a memory page for the Guest of Honor. This is an experience that’s full of fun, laughter and your guests will never forget this timeless party favor!

Last weekend, the whole Siagel team attended a Bat Mitzvah with a photo booth. The Scrapbook Table made the party. The Guest of Honor got to take home a great keepsake while we took pictures all night without worrying about losing our digital cameras!
