When this birthday girl told event designer Rebecca Omansky that her dad owned a car dealership, Rebecca’s first question was “what car are you getting for your birthday?” Her second question was “do you have somewhere to store all those cars?” It took some convincing but Dad agreed to shut business down for a day and clear the Porsches out to make room for the party of the year.

Rebecca used hundreds of feet of drapery, light-up furniture, and animal print couches to turn the family’s car dealership into a nightclub fit for a princess. Bouncers checked names off the guest list, guests helped themselves to a penny candy shoppe, and 100 sixteen year olds danced the night away. “Most sixteen year olds don’t live up to their nickname” says Rebecca, “but this birthday girl was truly sweet.”
